The Human Dimension has been working with Chinese, American, European, and Canadian companies in Mainland China and Hong Kong since 1997.

In 1997 we entered into a joint venture with Guangdong Nortel to provide five- to seven-day management development programs to the managers of state-owned telephone companies in China. These companies were and are going through tremendous turmoil and change as they become deregulated and must reorganize, compete for revenues, and keep costs down. We designed the programs, trained the trainers, and managed the process. These programs were so successful that the participants brought us into their companies to consult with them further.

Since then, we have done team building, management retreats, training, and extensive teaching of personality type using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, with hundreds of business managers and professionals educated in Mainland China and Hong Kong.

Our research article, "Using and Validating the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® in Mainland China's Businesses," (Journal of Psychological Type, Volume 51, 1999) was named Best Application of Psychological Type in 1999.

Over the years The Human Dimension has developed excellent training programs, and materials for teaching personality type, to Chinese managers, professionals, and administrators. We can train in English, Mandarin, or Cantonese, using our own trainers and translators who have worked with us for years and thoroughly understand the psychological concepts that underpin our work.
